Whimsy Dee's First Week in College- Hi UiTM Dengkil!
Hi to everyone who is reading this post and hi to my future self who is probably reading this post about herself with a grin on her face Ha-Ha.
I am writing this post as a commemoration of celebrating myself for surviving a week at new school with new surrounding, new friends and new challenges! It was a hectic week but it was something that I can go through, no worries. Well, I lost my class fee but...that's another story. Nah, I am too stressed to even think about it.
So, 5th of June marks my first day in UiTM Dengkil, as a Foundation in Law student (sounds cool, huh?) and I volunteered myself to be the class representative for PI007U7 because no one stepped out to be one. I wanted to be one so bad just because during school days, I couldn't get any 'Good' position because stupid teachers only chose popular kids in school for the job. Well, I sounded butthurt, but that WAS the truth, to be honest. I promised to myself that I will work hard in whatever I do from now on and be the centre of the world! *cues PD101 Pick Me theme song*
Okay, let's skip all the class rep thingy and move on to what happened to me on the first day as a student in UiTM Dengkil. I woke up early at 6.15 AM even though my class started at 8AM because I couldn't get myself to go back to sleep after Sahur. Therefore, I dragged my heavy body out of the sheets and hit the shower. I put on the baju kurung that my mother especially bought for my first day in college with a light heart and start putting on makeup. I put extra attention into my makeup that day just in case-....Ergh, who knows I would have a handsome+cute+single guy as a classmate, right? (No Dee, you gonna regret that thought afterwards istg)
I finished dressing up at 7AM and there was still time before my first class starts.I started taking selfies to admire my beauty that day *wtf?*. My parents asked for my picture so I knocked my housemate's room just to ask her to take a full body picture of me in front of the balcony.
The fourth day wasn't memorable for me, all I remembered was me getting stomachache and did my presentation in a hurry because my head was spinning (blame the milk tea I had for sahur). We had to present a word that best described us and a timeline that we predicted for ourselves from age 18-28. As someone with a huge ambition, of course I wrote things that were....kinda.............impossible? But, I believed in myself so I know that it wasn't impossible. TEEHEE

So that was how I looked on my first day ahahahaha. I met a bunch of interesting people as classmates and as for now, I don't really have anything bad I could say about them? They are so understanding, helpful and chill to be honest. I tried my best to be as friendly as possible that day to make myself seems more approachable to be honest. My close friends at SAB would laugh so freaking hard if they saw how much I smiled on my first day to be honest.
Obviously, on the first day it was filled with self-introduction and getting to know each other. I am glad and thankful to God that I am good at memorising names and faces, or else I would be really lost.
Second day wasn't that interesting, I guess? I couldn't remember much except one of our lecturers for Law subject who left a surprising first impression on all of us (its up to you to think whether it was a good one or a bad one). My classmates were really fun too! We have a lot of free time between classes and we walked around the 3 stories library, talking and getting to know each other. They even took a lot of my candid pictures and I swear.... I don't even know I could be such a meme while talking.

my classmate insisted on taking my own 'OOTD' picture (First time in my life tbh) |
Third day which was on Wednesday was obviously my favourite! As a law student, we are required to wear black and white/ court attire on Wednesdays. Me? Of course I love the idea of wearing black and white, haha. On that day, I wore white shirt with black pants and white scarf. I tucked in my white shirt (the polis bantuan didn't like that idea LOL) and wore black flats to class. To my dismay, as much as I want to wear B&W outfit, we only had one class that day, tsk. Therefore, I couldn't flaunt my cool outfit (I'm sorry, wtf) that much.Oh yeah! I also went to Alamanda for the first time with a few of my classmates and watched Wonder Woman! It was really great!

On Friday we only had one class and my parents fetched me home right after class HAHAHAHA (I only live 45 mins away from UiTM Dengkil, btw). Honestly, I didn't feel homesick at all- okay, maybe I did because I cried the moment my baby brother called out to me during video call hahaha.
That's a wrap about my classes and my first week in UiTM Dengkil! Another topic is my house at UiTM yay!!!!
I am glad that I got a decent room with interesting housemates and honestly, I think my room was the best out of all my close friends? We have our own private space, our own toilet and shower, our own studying table, and our own balcony! In UiTM Dengkil, each house has 3 bedrooms with 2 people sleeping in each, 2 shower room with toilet, a tall and spacious locker for each resident, study table and shelf, and a balcony to dry your clothes!

My sleeping buddy Dibo should be with me at all times, Little Prince is my favourite character of all times and of course, how can you not notice my cute carpet???? |
I have 5 housemates, each with their own unique personality and I am really glad that they are very loud and talkative! At least our house won't be too quiet at times;; phew. They are really nice and caring, they always woke me up for sahur, bought me food (cuz I hate putting on clothes and go out to Anjung, obviously)
Last but not least thank you for reading this blog post by me and I hope you will have a nice day today, wherever you are! Thank you!!!
